Do not sign a contract with these people until you fully understand you will pay for everything before you will ever be able to trade live. By that time you will have paid $6000.00 for course materials and prepaid all of your trading room fees, "to protect you from losses". Magically, after you pay everything you will now be able to make $1000.00 a day. Flag number one. My own fault. I usually research before I buy. I didn't. That's what guarantees are for.

The sales pitch leads you to believe otherwise. They pitch making $1000.00 a day. Playing on emotions, they are sucking a lot of people into their program at a vunerable time in their lives. Many have been laid off from work and assume they can make $1000.00 day in the mornings trading e-minis.

What Afshin neglects to tell you is you won't make that money immendiately. You'll have to wait 6 months. The latter response was from other traders in the room. Flag number two. I wish he had disclosed this one fact on his "online live session". I would not have joined.

The above is like paying a contractor in full for a remodel of your home only to find said contractor won't start for 6 months. And then the contractor files bankruptcy. Not the best analogy, but you get the point.

The most cruel part of this situation is you call and ask them to stop charging your account and their account manager tells you "sorry we have a contract" and then literally hangs up on you. She said she didn't, but I distinctly heard the receiver.

Anyway, so you're out of work and they want to still charge you trading room fees on top of 6 months trading fees paid in advance even after you plead hardship. I don't know about you but these people are heartless. Afshin never heard of negotiation where he comes from.

Well my attorney and the FTC will disagree if I understand everything I've read on the matter to date. Guarantees are supposed to mean something.

Pissed. Yes at myself for acting hastily. Don't follow my example.

It would seem the old adage of "if it seems too good to be true then it probably isn't" may apply here.

Seriously if these guys delivered a thousand dollars a day as guaranteed with a minimum investment then surely everyone would be doing it and no-one would go to work.

Hello all, I have been sent this article by a close friend of mine, concerned that TI is being misrepresented. TI (Australia) has a brand new management team and a very different approach to trading, and marketing! Before you write off the strategy, TI offer the opportunity for you to watch the senior trading team, trade in the live market, for FREE, for a week, over the Web. The team have done this to offer complete transparency of performance and also give you a chance to test the new signal set. Past and present TI members are loving it, so get in contact with the Aussie HQ and get into the FREE week. It will no doubt dispell some of your concerns and go along way to helping you understand why the changes are moving our traders ahead quite quickly.

(Call +61 7 5451 1194).

Have a great trading day, Lachlan.

Yeah I learnt my lesson with these idiots, scam, scam, scam, there's nothing else to say but learn from our mistakes, do not even poke a stick at these dogs how low can people be and still run a business. And don't forget 21st Century for promoting this piece of ***, they too should be on the SCAM list big time.

I signed up for the Forex training 7 months ago. Aside from one bad month I have no complaints.

Without question, Erica is one of the best traders out there. I have a hard time believing some of these comments because it is opposite of what i have experienced.

As it has been said many times: A SUCKER IS BORN EVERY MINUTE! I can't figure out how anyone can possibly be so *** as to think that you will actually make money with such a scam.

What are you thinking?

Are you really that foolish? You deserve what you get if you are really that ***.

But, people should buy the book called "The Art of The Trade" from bookstores or Amazon.

The hard truth is people who know how to trade don't talk and people who talk don't know how to trade.

Only 10% traders make money and they are taking money from you. It is a zero-sum game. Money from your account ends up in another trader's account.

TI is basically sucking your money before you even start trading. It's even worse. Their divergence technique is just a re-wrap public domain technique that you can learn from investopedia.com. It's like selling you how to change tires and your car's manual already tells you how to do so.

Wake up.

Hi marie. An excellent well written account of what TI really stand for.

Quite frankly, I am surprised the are still in business. I was another sucked in by the sales pitch of Peter Elsworth in Auckland New Zealand. Unfortunately it took me a year to figure out they were all BS. I think most people around the world have realised they are not traders, or genuine, but rather marketing sales people wanting their commissions.

I am thankful I only got sucked in for $5500.00 and not the ridiculous price tag of $7500.00 they charge now. Also on top of that, if you want the MACD and Stoch indicator for Ninja Trader you have a choice to pay a monthly rental or own them for ANOTHER $1000.00, plus the 250.00 US dollars per month room fee, to make absolutely nothing. There are some real horror stories in NZ and Aust with people enduring losses of anything between $5000 and one lady I know $38000.00 while trading in the Pro Room. I actually did ask Afshin in a webinar why we had to pay the extra money for the indicators.

As soon as he saw the question he said he was out of time and I never got a reply. There isnt one person that I know of in NZ or Australia that has made money with TI. As for me, I continue to trade with my own system that I have developed from other programs. The best system I have found is Top Dog Trading and is ony 1 25th of the horrendous price TI charge.

When Barry Burns decides to give a sale the price tag is only $295.00 and is a thousand times more professional with lots more information. Hope this saves people form unneccessarily losing their hard earned money. There is money to be made in trading but not with TI.

Everything in the main article is 100% correct. Afshin and his assistant Simran are heartless and fraudulent. I have been so disgusted with the way Afshin presents the program. He claims that there is an average of 20 points trading range, which has no way ever come close to that.

Below is an email that I sent to Afrin. I have yet to receive a response from him. Instead he did exactly what I asked him not to do. He sent me to his assistant. She has promised that he would call me last week. It is now Tuesday of the following week and I have still not heard from him. See email below:

(I am requesting that you honor your money back guarantee and refund my credit card with the full amount that was paid to Traders International. Do not send me to Simran. You and I are going to deal with this refund. She does not know what she is doing. She is responsible for me loosing $500 the very first day. She was supposed to set me up with a One-on-One training session with a moderator but instead she sent me to a training video. It was there that I was following along with the video not knowing that I was live.

You make way to many false statements when you are trying to recruit new members. I have heard countless stories from other members that have been with TI for 8 or 9 months that are in the whole by thousands of dollars. Below are some of your false claims:

(You can profit in an up or down market. Even if the market is down you can still average a $1000 a day.)

This is so not true. They are claiming that trading has been bad due to low volume.

(There is more leverage than Stock Trading.)

(20 points range daily average.)

We have never come close to a 20 point range daily average. In fact, we haven’t even broken out of a 5 point range.

(Several trade opportunities every day.

There are multiple trading opportunities per day however our goal is to provide you with a set of high probability trading signals. On average our high probability signals will provide you with over a dozen high probability trades throughout the day.)

This statement is on of the worst. We have had more days of either bad trade calls or no trade calls at all. During February and March combined 20 out of 38 days were negative trades. March’s total alone is -$9.75.

(We recommend you only trade 2 – 3 hours a day. This time frame each day will give you multiple trading opportunities for a 5% to 10% return. Want to make $1000 a day? Want to spend more time with your hobbies and loved ones? All these are possible.)

This also is a lie. I have been in the trading room for an average of 6 hours with either no calls or bad calls per day.

They are very protective about chatting in the room. They are so afraid that someone is going to tell the truth about their false claims that they monitor the chat constantly. They don’t want traders to exchange email addresses either.

I have been in other trading companies trading rooms and you are free to comment on anything. And the comments are always positive. Their room results each week are always positive.

I too made the mistake of signing up with TI before checking into other trading companies. I will never do that again. If you are thinking about signing up with TI, think again. Please check out other companies. They have education materials and training with proven methods for a fraction of what Traders International.

Same experience here...

I signed up for TI in March 2009. With the currency exchange as poor as it was at the time it ended up costing me about $10k CDN.

Before I committed I sat in on one of Afshin's sales conferences. A person asked him about achieving the moderators results. He actually got a little snarky and said if you're smart enough to push a button you can make money--and said that TI can't be responsible for holding your hand in pulling the trigger. It rubbed me the wrong way but yet I gave my money over. Over the next few months I lost about $15,000 plus the hours and hours I spent every day on this. The "Pro Room" was particular disastrous for me as I followed the mod into his foolishness. I'm not a dummy and have 7 years of College and University and was just trying my best to follow the moderator. The regular "Trading Room" is really no better and will just drain your account slower--in my opinion.

In October I started in their Forex room. There have been moments of promise but really just plan on sitting at BE for months on end in the real world. Miss one day of trading however and you could be down %25 on the month. I have a half a dozen friends trading in that room with me and they report the exact same thing. After 5 months in the FX room my account is down 20% and that's not including the $1500 that I've spent on my room subscription and the hours each day I've spent. I'm finally packing it in with TI.

To nutshell... my experience was a costly one. I'm a fairly apt person but all I was able to do with TI was lose money. And don't think that you're getting a trading education if you sign on with them. Their "education" just gives you what you need to work with their moderators--no advanced or even moderate level trading education. You just pay your sign up fee to then in turn be allowed to pay their $300/month room fees.

To end everything off when I canceled my subscription the girl seemed to almost take it personally. I was very nice with her but when I was saying good-bye there was no "thanks for spending a year with us... thanks for your support... thanks for your time... hope to see you back... is there anything we can do to keep you"... nothing. Her last words to me were a disappointing "I hope you find what you're looking for"... as if it was my problem that I wasn't successful with TI.

I won't tell anyone what to do. You can all make your own decisions. For me, however, TI was a foolish decision that I greatly regret and I feel really bad that my wife went out on a limb and allowed me to do this because I sold her the same bag of goods that TI had sold me. Now, I'm rewarding my wife's faith in my judgment with vapouriziing $25,000 of my family's money that we really didn't have to waste. I feel equally guilty because I'm responsible for 3 of my friends doing this too and they're all in the exact same boat as me.
